It's not automatic or set in stone or anything, but yes, there is a fairly standard progression. For minor stuff like sig warnings it's just a notation. On the other hand, if you troll the same types of threads on a weekly basis, you can expect your outcomes to escalate. Likewise with spam and flaming. Less so with thread-jacking and gravedigging. We also take into consideration who the puppetmaster might be if you are obviously trying to use puppets to avoid accumulated warnings.
