[Q]When does excessive reporting turn into spam?

Postby Cavirfi » Mon Mar 01, 2021 3:37 am

So, I was wondering this. I just made 2 reports today, but considering the fact I am the revive of a DEATed nation who made a similar rate of reports, I sometimes wonder, when does me reporting rule-breakers turn into spam.

NS Moderation, when does reporting a huge amount of rulebreakers in one day become a bit too much

That depends.

If they're mostly frivolous, otherwise non-actionable, or seem to be part of a vendetta against specific individuals, that would probably be too much (note that I'm not accusing you of any of these things; merely noting some likely general scenarios).

If they're all helpful and/or good faith reports, then there's no real problem; report away.

Note that I'm not going to outline specific examples; I can only offer general advice.
