Expand the team? They have that handled. Having expectations from something that is free and moderated by volunteers is a little silly.

Spammers, neonazis, and sickos happen. They are usually pretty quick and things have improved over time. We once had a real sicko posting garbage. Reploid finally nailed him.

They talk amongst themselves and if they feel something needs help; the team does get expanded.

It's really not that simple. Mods retire for a reason, so simply "recalling" them in all likelihood won't make them come running to rejoin again. Mods have rejoined previously, but it's not that common.

It's more likely he left because he could no longer maintain all the various excuses and intricate schemes to explain away his sheep-like characteristics. The sore throat from the common cold as an excuse for the baa noises, and the "it's a woolly jacket" to explain his outer appearance, were harder to justify during the summer months.

No, if the site were to somehow grow exponentially maybe, but I don't think that it's necessary for what is still a relatively small forum. Reddit and 4Chan have more unique users in a week than NationStates has in a year, and so their needs are different.

Should of used a 3D printer with a heated nozzle addon to bake the ingredients as they print. Maybe a hot plate under the print zone to keep it gently warm
