I think they are, considering the mods pulled this a little while ago, and just as what happened here they gave no actual reason for what was and was not trolling.

We don't allow derogatory political nicknames for Trump, Biden etc. So calling them a "cunt", which is undoubtedly a stronger word than any political nicknames I've seen used, is hardly going to be acceptable. It's exactly the kind of thing that will rile up supporters of that politician.

I mean, I'm not going to go through the entire forum to find every instance where someone has called a political figure various obscene names, but... it is in fact a new standard. This was a thing which has been done and wasn't banned, which is now being disallowed, and Farn has specified that using more esoteric, dated, or unusual insulting terms are still fine, but that contemporary curse words are not.
