[Q] Why is 3 Guys Gameplay Thread locked?

It was locked because a gravedig was reported in Moderation over this post: viewtopic.php?p=37669091#p37669091
The thread doesn't need a trawl, and while I know it's been some time since the org posted, but when did we just lock gameplay threads for regions because some rando gravedigged? Now 3 Guys is forced to make a new thread for their region if they make a comeback.
Don't mods normally just warn gravediggers that have nothing to add to the thread especially for region/org embassy or regional threads?
