[Q] Satirical/parody nation?

Not sure if I should file a GHR or post this here, but I have a couple of questions regarding a satirical parody nation I'm planning on creating. The nation in question is loosely based on and lampoons a real-life nation, the People's Republic of China, or more specifically, the Chinese Communist Party. Is it considered rulebreaking to lampoon a real-life nation for any reason whatsoever?

Secondly, would the motto, "harvesting organs one dissident at a time" in a thinly-veiled reference to the CCP be considered rulebreaking, particularly as a customizable field in the context of the satirical nation I intend to create?

Lastly, I'm drafting a Factbook for this nation and I have it saved on a file on my hard disk. Would you guys mind taking a look to see if it's rulebreaking in any way, shape, or form? I can file a GHR and paste the Factbook there if that's what you prefer, though the GHR apparently isn't for "general inquiries" as such and the interface isn't very user-friendly. Just use the Preview function in the Dispatch draft loadout like I did. I don't want to paste it here in the forum because it doesn't display correctly and I don't want anyone to steal my nation name.

I'm only asking this now because I was suddenly and wrongly warned last week for a forum post that obviously wasn't trolling and I want to be absolutely sure my parody nation and Factbook aren't considered rulebreaking in any way before I proceed.

Now I'm worried one of the Factbooks to another nation of mine which is much older than the forum post I was warned for may also contain potentially rulebreaking content in hindsight and I don't want to get retroactively warned yet again in a clear case of double jeopardy and ex post facto rules enforcement or reported in bad faith by a creepy stalker with a grudge, so I'm going to go back and edit it ASAP the potentially offending bits have now been deleted.

If you have so many questions about whether you should do this, I'd say, don't do it. I'll raise a flag to get another Mod or two to chime in.

It is not automatically against the rules to do so - i.e. there is no specific rule against it. However, it could be done in a trolling fashion. We can't rule on your hypothetical.

Maybe. It depends on context - the rest of the nation, its fields, actions etc. Again, we can't rule on your hypothetical.

No, mods aren't going to proof-read your content for compliance with the rules. It's your responsibility to comply with the rules, and there's far too much content posted to the site for us to offer a service of reviewing it in advance.

You're going to run into problems trying to stay on the right side of the rules if you start off with the assumption that you were wrongly warned.

If you've posted rule-breaking content in multiple places then yes that needs to be sorted, because otherwise if left up you would be liable to be punished for keeping it up.

That does not give you definite answers to any of your questions, because we don't provide rulings on hypotheticals. Farn's advice is the best you'll get - if you have to ask so many questions about whether something is okay, it's probably not.

Thanks both of you for the feedback! I'm going to have to figure out a way to tone down the contents or simply ditch the idea altogether.
