Isn't it curious how people will claim they are against tribalism, then pigeonhole themselves into tribes?

I use obviously in italics to emphasise the conveying of sarcasm. If I've put excessive obviously's into a post that means I'm being sarcastic

He's a lawyer and well known for making rather suspect pronouncements on NSG. I really don't think he'll be offended by the use of a rather well known trope.

It's a good question, and one I'd like moderation to address. Is referring to a persistent pattern of a poster an attack on the poster themselves?
