Can I disagree With a Moderator in the forums?

I recently was looking at the moderation forums and found one that looked interesting. I clicked on it and saw that a moderator replied. But the problem was that I disagreed with the moderator. So I quoted them and told them why I disagreed. I then sat on NationStates for a little while longer, doing my issues, posting on the RMB, but then it hit me. Was I allowed to disagree with the moderator on the forums?

If they are posting their opinion in a thread, like any other poster? Yes, of course.

If you don't like their ruling? Yes, in the proper way: by filing an appeal (if the ruling applies to you).

If you are in the moderation forum, in a thread that does not involve you, and that you bring no further evidence to for either side -- No.

So in short...... yes. You can disagree, unless it's in a report thread that does not involve you.
