I have a query about this post. "Let[ting] nature take its course" seems to be treading the border on wishing death, too, in context:

Actually, can we go back to that idea? Maybe we can just quarantine the healthy populace, and then let nature take its course on the unvaccinated populace. It's Darwinian, but it might work, and it wouldn't be infringing on the right not to vaccinate. I guess you could say it infringes on the right to live wherever, but hey, freedom of choice.

"Letting nature take its course" can absolutely be construed as advocating death, but context is everything. The conversation is about vaccinations. The idea of nature taking its natural course is central to the argument.

The user was saying we should round up healthy, vaccinated people and quarantine them. It'd be a poorly intentioned comment if he was saying we should round up unvaccinated people.

Fair enough. I was reading it as the emphasis being on "let nature take its course on the unvaccinated people".

Thanks, Audio!
