Retiring from combat duty

In 1862, my armor made me practically invincible, but it's not 1862 anymore. I've been doing some thinking about how I spend my time on NS, and I've decided that I'm ready to retire from my post as a moderator. There's a certain amount of conflict inherent in modding, and I want to be able to enjoy NS as a player without that negativity.

I edited a few issues during my time as a mod, and I hope to edit more in the future, so I'm requesting a transfer to issues editor rather than completely leaving the site staff.

Sorry to see you go Monitor, but I certainly understand the decision. Ultimately you have to do what you enjoy here, and if Modding isn’t that, better to lay down the axe than burn out your desire to be among friends.

That is correct; her first nation is even older than NFP, from 2009, but I forget its name. I remember her as NFP from my original heyday on here in 2012 and always found her cool back then too. The reason for my comment is when Monitor became a mod under that account, I didn't know the two were one and the same.
