Gormwood was quick to delete this piece of bait before I could quote it but not before I snagged a screenshot. Does not seem acceptable.

Edit: didn't realize I'd typed kosher. Changed to "acceptable", given the victims of the attack being Jewish.

While we can't accept screenshots as evidence, this incident has been noted in case he makes a habit out of the 'post borderline/rulebreaking crap and then quickly delete it before the mods can see.' Sometimes users post something over the line, realize that they overstepped, and remove it themselves to correct their error rather than to go "ha ha I flamed/baited/trolled and got away with it!"

Hopefully this instance was the former, not the latter. If it appears to be the latter, they can find their post editing/deleting access revoked entirely.

Oops. Mod collision. I thought Gormwood's history and the fact that the mod logs do show him deleting a post around the right time were enough corroborating evidence to act on this, so I gave him a 1 day ban.

If the rest of the team disagrees and overturns it, I'm not too fussed about it, but I had already enacted the ban before I saw Reppy's post.

I read that as suppressing one's desire to incite violence, not to support it. Not actionable.
