I think we all know Torra is a transwoman. I don’t think she’s been uncivil to him, or suggested assault beyond the water gun, though I wasn’t paying much attention.

He’s also referred to trans people as degenerate subhumans, but that’s farther back in the thread and I didn’t pay it much mind. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

From context, the attacker whose situation is being discussed didn't attack in defense of anyone at the speech itself. I feel that Yusseria's pretty clearly advocating that all trans people are degenerate subhumans, because the only group that could've been "shielded" in this context is the trans community, from Knowles' transphobia.

I was not intentionally attempting to offend Torra. The misgenderings were done by accident and had no malicious intent.

Quite frankly, I'm not using to having to be so careful about gender pronouns. I have not been here very long.

And I've explained my meanings behind it repeatedly. These people who try to shut down campus free speech are usually part of groups.
