Condemned Mods?

Why are people who are Condemned mods? I think it should be that if they are Condemned, they should have their moderation powers revoked. If they were Condemned then they must have done something wrong. Either that or I'm being paranoid again.

WA Condemnation is generally for the in-character nation. It's the user behind the nation who is entrusted with moderating duties.

A user's in-character reputation isn't necessarily reflective of their out-of-character reputation. For example, the nation of Starblaydia actually has a WA Commendation on their record, but I speak to the user behind it all the time and he's a total douchecanoe.

Yeah, If mods were based on their IC interactions, I could see a couple of Mods being kicked out. But that would be dumb as it is IC and Mods are an OOC job.

Yeah. We're all being facetious. Condemnations/Commendations have nothing to do with whether one is potentially Mod material.

But, as above, one is related to roleplaying, the other is a community position, and they don't really have anything to do with each other one way or another.

I think, on a purely hypothetical basis, if a commended mod and condemned mod both rule on the legality of WA SC proposal the commended mod's opinion should take precedence.
