[R] Inappropriate Thread

I would like to ask NS forum moderation to consider closing this thead. This deals with off-site disputes. It feels inappropriate to air off-site drama on the official game forums.

Destruction of data such as this has been discussed many times before on the official game forums, including an entire Gameplay treatise based on the idea of the preventing it, known as COPS. There is on-site precedence for this topic, on-site reasons for its occurring, and now on-site discussion brought on primarily by those that participated in the occurrences.

I believe the influx of off-site information by users of the region I called out was intended to get my topic locked for "off-site drama". I hope this attempt to use moderators to silence my criticism of their community the same way Discord moderators were used to silence criticism of their community elsewhere is not successful.

If you were in any way familiar with my post history here? You’d know I have nothing but contempt for the CoCD. I think they’re either RL fascists or maladjusted individuals LARPing as fascists, and I’m not inclined to view either group favourably.

That being said...I didn’t think discussing what amounts to Discord drama was appropriate for the forums. I brought it up with moderation- I bring a lot of things up with moderation in fact and often they tell me I’ve got nothing- and they agreed. For now. They may change their minds and if they do? Eh that’s their prerogative.

I am not attempting to use moderation to silence you, however. I don’t like the CoCD and I have no desire to protect them. That being said? Your thread struck me as inappropriate. Which is why I reported it as I did.
