Howdy folks, with the guidance of Lamoni I am writing here because I have a question regarding what the phrase "emphasis mine" means here in the N.S. Moderation forum. I've seen this phrase used a fair amount by players in moderation posts and was wondering what it meant?

When the subject of report is unclear, the questionable content is emphasized to make it clear, but no other modifications are made to the quote.

For example:

Here is something to report.

I might report it as:

Here is something to report.

Emphasis mine.

“Here” is the content to be reported.

Essentially “the emphasis is added by myself” to highlight the content to report.

When someone is quoting a post, and wishes to highlight a specific area of the post for Moderator review

You notice the ">hurr durr i cannot read" is bolded
That is because Pasong Tirad wanted that specific area investigated, so he bolded it himself, thus emphasis mine
