I'd like to submit an objection, as that was a wholesome comment rather than an attempt at flaming -- something to be expected at the thread's usual atmosphere. Not to say that this is a known friendly meme, not any less cheeky than the typical ":^)" smiley.

Appeal denied. There's no way that a casual observer could be expected to interpret "ok retard" as anything other than a personal attack. Whether or not it's a "friendly meme" is irrelevant; not everyone is familiar with every meme, which ought to be reason enough not to use memes that would appear to be flames to anyone not familiar with them on a board where flaming is prohibited. It's not rocket science.
