yeah, this is effectively putting one passing remark done by the "offender" in the same category of something much more severe such as actually wishing ill will upon any specific race.

All the wiki article says is that hard-r is an ethnic slur. It mentions that "nigga" is a colloquial term, meaning it's common in day-to-day communication.

I've never heard of tolerance.org, but i've found the article you've referenced and it seems very clear that it is in fact referring mostly to the hard-r n word as well.

Yes but faggot is an insultive word for lots of LGBT people. It doesnt matter if you dont use it intentionally to insult people because at the end of the day the connotations behind stuff like the n-word are inherently coming from a history of vile racism and oppression. People will still find it highly offensive. It is only really excusable in a sort of IC RP sense, if it makes sense.
