Why should there be a religious test for office? What do you have against Catholics?

They are incapable of meaning an oath and their own church teaches that "Americanism", our values, is a heresy. Why do you want a 5th column? Quarantine them in Maryland, that's what it was built for.

Yes, it was a thread on how we would change the Constitution when it was first implemented. I said no Catholics holding office. This is a view others have been able to express just fine. I can provide proofs for both their doctrines on oaths and on the heresy of Americanism. It's well known that JFK was resented for being a Catholic and an incompetent who was soft on the Reds. Both of which are reasons commonly attributed to why he was killed. It's fine to advocate banning Muslim immigration due to the risk but apparently not for Catholics in government.
