I have tendered my resignation with the site's administration and have officially retired. This was 100% my choice that I made earlier this week. It wasn't an easy one but a necessary one.

In recent weeks and months, my activity has dropped due to other priorities. There are only so many hours in a day. An individual cannot give more than a 100%. It's impossible. Think of yourself as a pie. Each slice represents a portion that you've allocated to a specific priority in your life. Once all the slices are served, there is none left. I've had to reallocate the slice I dedicated to NS to other areas of my life. I felt that I couldn't adequately serve as I had in the past as I no longer have the time.

Time change. People change. Life goes on.

*cough cough* All ridiculous OCD things aside, it always gets to me when a mod resigns. Probably because I'm always scared out of my wits that said mod's resignation will be the tipping point leading to there not being enough mods to handle the crazies, and thus the site descends into anarchy... but I'm basically the queen of worst-case scenarios, so it's only to be expected. But hey, if you can't mod you can't mod, real life is more important, so go have fun with it, eh?

We've taken steps to prevent this from happening. Sedgistan has been crazy-glued to Crazy Girl. Reploid Productions is pinned to her office chair by the Sword of DEAT. The Archregimancy has been pounded into sand up to his neck by an errant cricket bat, and he's so interested in slowly dusting himself out and examining every grain of sand that he'll be in that location for years to come. USS Monitor is stuck in a mudflat somewhere off the coast of North Carolina, and will continue to connect via the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse wifi, with tidal generators to recharge her Civil War era laptop.

So you can see, we're covered. And Krozerkia, you're more than welcome for all the fish.
