How to change thread titles?

Umpteen pages into a thread, it's obvious that the original title does not apply entirely. (I speak of my "Eliminating regional passwords entirely" thread in Technical.) I saw someone mention that he had changed his thread title and I wondered how he had done that. (I'd like to put "secret" in front of "passwords" in the title.)

You become a Moderator and then you can do all the title changing you want. It may take awhile till you do but doesn't matter you will then be able to do it.

Now your next question will be "how do I become a mod?" well check the stickies.

You simply ask the Mods to do it for you, they are usually more than happy to oblige and responses are quicker if you give them an offering.

Actually, on this forum, all you need to do is edit the first post of your thread and you should be able to do it yourself.
