I didn't call transgender a mental disorder, i was referring to Manning's mental state, including his mental instability. that's an entirely separate issue from being transgender.

I didn't say he was a freak because he was transgender, and that second thing was a direct quote from a news article, proving my point that he suffered from several mental disorders. The point was not the transgender situation, but the other personality disorders that lead up to his particular situated, exacerbated by his gender dysphoria.

But if i may add, Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, legally speaking. It's listed in the official DSM as such. Thus why a mainstream news site(ABC) described it as such.
