I'm fairly certain I'm allowed to express an opinion on a religious practice, and my opinion is that millions of people fawning over a black stone constitutes idol worship. And I'm fairly certain calling someone out about blatantly posting misinformation is itself not against the rules. Additionally, Assad is a muslim, and one positively impacting the muslim world in a very deep way. He is entirely relevant.

I don't consider asking the Tough Questions^tm to be trolling, given that nothing I'm doing is being done out of malice, or to get a rise out of anyone.

Well I'm definitely vulgar, that's part of my quintessential charm. But I'm not insulting, I never insulted you or anyone else in the islam thread. If I had said that all muslims are idol worshiping goat fuckers, which for the record I do not think, that would be insulting. Saying that I find a specific islamic practice to essentially be idol worship, however, is not.

Vulgarity isn't particularly charming. Yours has gotten you into considerable hot water. I had a look at your record: it is not pretty. I'd suggest making civility part of your "quintessential charm" and let the vulgarity go.
