My "where babys sleep" and "diapering" threads locked?

Yes, I locked them. The questions being asked there are getting a bit too ridiculous. Factbooks and National Information is the name of the forum; and really, "Where do your babies sleep" and "What diapers do your babies wear?" don't have a place in there. Mostly because of the fact that neither of those questions will be taken seriously and will result in spam/joke replies and such.

Also see my response when an eariler thread of yours, asking how players pronounce the word "envoy", was locked.

At this rate you may become an expert on reasons why NS mods lock threads. But wouldn't it be easier on all of us if you just tried, you know, not making such threads?

Could we include this one in the "lock-it-up" carnival too? It seems along the same lines as the other two.

@Venetoland: generally we'll let you ask whatever you want in FaNI, but these topics struck us as spammish/pointless and we acted accordingly. I would prefer FaNI threads remained at least somewhat substantive: if you'd like to discuss how nations deal with children or what-have-you, I'd make it a part of one larger thread rather than "How long do they breastfeed in your country" or "Where do your babies sleep" as individual topics.
