I do agree it has to be tougher.

For example, I've taken out (on my own accord some 12 hours later) that Mall must resign because as much as I hate Mall's actions, I don't have a right to have leeway in sig as compared to the 'customizable fields'.

Similarly, this probably will affect Mods too - I don't like at all Scolo calling this a "Stupid overblown controversy of the week". Now, that was flamebaity to the RPers. But we can't do anything.

I didn't say prevented from being submitted. I said prevented from being at vote.

And it took quite a bit of my own influence in gameplay to stop Mall from campaigning for it and getting it to vote.

Because Mall was bored and knew the reactions it would get. I don't think he anticipated the level of reactions it has gotten, and I think that Mall regrets what's happened and that's why he isn't campaigning for it to get to vote.

Because Mall was bored and knew the reactions it would get. I don't think he anticipated the level of reactions it has gotten, and I think that Mall regrets what's happened and that's why he isn't campaigning for it to get to vote.

It isn't just about Liberate Haven anymore.

The whole movement has grown into a full fledged opposition to ensure some sort of protections are put in place for RP regions and the work they produce.

It's a dumb online game that you have no obligation to use.

It's hours, if not days, worth of writing (in some cases, published novel quality, if I may add), statistics, world-building, and strategy that we have every obligation to protect.

In my eyes, this is just a huge overreaction by people because some people don't like what some moderators did. They should all just join the club, I don't agree with the moderators all the time, but I understand they know the right decisions.

As stated, the first portion can be considered an absolute statement, "Mall was bored and knew the reactions it would get." Compare, "I believe that Mall was bored, and that he knew the reactions it would get." See the difference? It's easy for people to get the wrong message over the internet, since it's just text.

Since 92.56% of internet trolls willingly know that they're trolling, and unless a moderator purposely wanted to jeopardize their position, I'd say that there's a very low possibility that it's trolling.

But remember, when moderators examine a case of trolling, it's determined to the best of their ability. Therefore, you're correct in a way. But you'd have to take into consideration Mallorea's ability to determine trolling in order to say that they would know how to do it and get away with it, and other moderator's ability to determine trolling as well.

Eh, I just make up percentages on the spot. I wouldn't say that those accused and prosecuted of trolling on NS purposely do it, but a large majority do.

Mall is a self-admitted griefer, and the fact that he happens to have a red name tag these days doesn't change that. I wouldn't put trolling past him at all.

Why sigs aren't held to the same sdtandard as flags: Sigs are only visible in the forum, so anybody who sees them is already in basically the right place to comment/complain. Flags are visible to everybody who's just playing any aspect of the game, and even to outsiders who happen upon NS while web-surfing.
