I actually believe that it was an intended and very real death threat. Just be reading the post you can tell that it was very real and serious.

I understand that they won't hurt me, however a rule violation must not go unpunished, that would be a great injustice.

Well, If it is ICly, it wouldn't be a death threat or rule violation at all!

By just reading it, you can determine it is a real death threat. I understand that you don't want an ally to be punished, however justice must take its due course. We cannot have double standard for violations, all should be punished in the same way for the same offence.

I believe that his death threat was directed at me. While it is possible to speculate that it was about my nation, the evidence all points to a direct death threat against myself.

Seriously? Why would we want to actually kill you, we are very civilized people who like making bad jokes like that and we know we can't swim across the Pacific ocean to be sure that our perceived threats become real.

All in all, it sounds like an in-game assassination plot on your nations leader, not the paranoid person behind the screen. I'd suggest you declare war on the nations involved, capture their leaders, hold public trials and executions of them. It usually works for me.

By the way, since Nation States doesn't give any personal information as to your name/country/etc, how do you know they even live in your hemisphere? You're safe OP.

The death described was so far fetched, it was scientifically impossible. In fact, I'm not making this up, I'm pretty sure it was one of the top ten over the top deaths featured on a WatchMojo video. It is just as scientifically possible for me to threaten to send my nation's Battlestars to your planet, park in orbit, and then glass it with nukes.

The death described was so far fetched, it was scientifically impossible. In fact, I'm not making this up, I'm pretty sure it was one of the top ten over the top deaths featured on a WatchMojo video. It was simply a joke, not a serious death threat in my point of view. If it was actually serious he would have not put it up on the forums. "He" might have been referring to you, but as a joke, not a serious death threat.

I also am suspecting you know its a joke but trying to get someone in trouble, because for me atleast it's clearly a joke.

Anyway, LE from what I have seen on the forums doesn't usually make death threats.

It seems to be just a horrible joke written by someone with a morbid sense of humour.

Even then you should not accuse them of conspiring to kill you, they cannot do so as they do not know who you are and that they cannot track you here like the United States with their technology used against subversive plots. Use your common sense, they are just people.

I myself would not be affected that I would call the police if someone has told me such things in a humorous manner.
