Hello mods, I have a question for thee.

What would it take for the NSG Senate to get its own sub-forum?

It was already discussed, and as of now, there is no inclination to split it out to its own subforum.

The only concern about not having our own sub-forum is that the dreaded auto-prune sometimes prunes important threads.

That's why we have the archive option. People request them all the time.

Yes, but some of those threads need to be posted in later, but not within the time of a week. FIlling said thread up with bumps isn't really that nice.

Say we have a thread where we post our budget. Said thread is important, because we might need to see old budgets in the future. Now, this thread would only get posted in every three months when there is an election. To fill it up with bumps doesn't really work.

That might work. However, keeping the senate spread out over several forums would be quite the pain in the bum (pardon my french), as it would make it more difficult to organize.

Sorry to step into this thread, though as a Senator I feel this is at least partly related to me, I'd just like to make a couple of points. Firstly, I believe that upon our initial request moderators stated that they would review the idea of a sub-forum in a year - So, even if it was already discussed, we (the Senate) would like that discussion to take place once again. Secondly, back in the pre-P2TM days when I was just a wee lad, RPers did in fact have to deal with the autoprune. Moderators evidently viewed this as a problem, alongside the fact that serious RP was competing with spam and games in F7, and therefore granted RPers their own sub-forum. I believe the Senate faces similar problems.

Once again, sorry about the intrusion but I hope I helped clear some things up.

Like Glasgia, sorry to step in.

However, couldn't the senate just make its way over to p2tm? It's kind of rp, and it seems to fit more in p2tm than with the forum games.
