Looks like it might be over 8 lines if you edit the white space it may make it in the 8 line limit.

Shaz has the right of it: Don't link to the nation page, link to the forum profile. It's much faster and easier for me to be able to click straight to the user's forum profile so I can edit the sig. Linking to the nation page requires me to manually look up the user on the forums to get to where I can edit the sig. It's much less efficient and a great deal more bothersome having to do those extra steps over and over again.
