This looks like it might be 11 or 12 lines, but I might be mistaken

I'll work on getting a screen shot of it when I'm more awake.

Trimmed, trimmed + telegram notice, and trimmed via font size reduction!

I don't understand why anyone would bother to go out of their way to report something as asininely minor as a "signature being too long." Certainly, I don't blame the mods for enforcing the rule on their own initiative when they notice it themselves--but how could it possibly bother anyone else enough to go and make a report? It's absurd; I can't think of one single explanation that isn't rooted in excessive anal-retentiveness or megalomania.

I don't particularly care why someone reports it or decides to go looking for it; reports help me do my job and part of that job is to reduce forum clutter by making sure people keep their sigs within limits. That is an order straight from Max himself; long sigs clutter things up, keep them short.

And while we're all here, I very strongly recommend you don't come into a moderation reporting thread to flamebait the users who are using the thread for its stated purpose.

Attributed to screen resolution differences then ? Because on my monitor mine was 8 lines, counting the blanks. I do have a widescreen monitor, I suppose.

I like what you did with it though, anyway. The spoiler tags are good for this (since I do plan on winning more championships!), nice feature on this new forum. :)

Yeah, I'm running 1152 x 864 myself, and the variation in screen sizes and stuff is why I just trim sigs and maybe send a repeat offender a note that "Hey, you're up against the sig limit, mind trimming it some?" instead of a official warning tags and stuff. Somebody would have to try awful hard to actually get in trouble for a long sig! :p

Good luck with those championships :)

Hey Reppy, caught a live one for you.

Piepin is way over 8 lines. I'd love to take his signature outback and put it out of its misery, alas, I don't have any ammunition to do the job. :)

I really need to make up a boilerplate TG to send people when I trim their sigs, really... Sig trimmed (again), TG sent to the player explaining why.

And Bluth can take a three day hiatus so he can learn to play nice with others and perhaps not constantly insult their motives.
