Hmmm see, I think this might be the root of your misunderstanding. We don't really care if 'people dislike this board'. We like it. Some of us have been here for many, many years. We have put in hours of time and effort into building a community. If random people come along and feel put off by the way we interact, it's not really something I think most of us are going to lose sleep over.

Maybe you like it, but calling others "n00bs" and using rude tones isn't going to get you popularity points. I'm not an outsider, I'm someone who plays NationStates. I am fully entitled to post on General, and I have posted on General before you were even a registered account.

Because if the fact that there is precedent that people have been banned for posting other's names (which was provided in the previously mentioned topic, several members were banned because they were 'flamebaiting' which was from the posting of 'personal information' names) isn't enough, I would say that all of Neesika's posts are trolling.

This is driving tensions high, but it's not actionable. The post where Neesika called you a dweeb has been addressed and she's been warned on that.

If you don't like people shortening your name to Jared, I suggest you a) create a new nation to post in General with or b) don't post in General where people tend to shorten other's names.

The argument raised about Ard's previous post is not completely relevant. The shortened version is not a nickname, it is a shortened version of your Nation name. It is not an insult, nor is it a twisting of the nation name.

And that's merely the things we bothered to write down. As you've clearly established that you consider yourself in the perfect right and have absolutely no interest in following our rules or listening to our suggestions on how to follow those rules, you have been dealt with according to our established procedures. No less than four people on the moderation staff signed off on your deletion after your repeated trolling of the entire General forum, as if you had some sort of special right.

Discussion on this topic is closed. We have spent more than enough time on you. I am closing this topic, and it is not to be reopened. Doing so will be considered a deletable offense, as you are still the same person at your keyboard no matter what name you post under, and it is with you (vis a vis your actions and attitude) that we have a problem with. Because of this you can safely consider yourself under kill-after-single-infraction status for the next while... so step carefully.
