A question.

Is the term "Jappy" acceptable on nationstates? It's something that has been my nickname on this site for around 3 years and recently I've been getting complaints and threats of being reported. I would just like a mods opinion.

As with all things, it depends. Generally we dislike slurs, but they are not forbidden.

In other words, no, we wouldn't act on someone calling you Jappy unless they were a. Doing so in a derogatory manner or b. You had made your wishes clear to NOT be called thus.
To those who feel, life is a tragedy. To those who think, it's a comedy.

I figured if the term "Jap" was a slur then Jappy would be less or so. Unless of course that word is a slur as well and I've been ignorant on the matter.

Jap is a slur. Jappy is a nickname.

Jap itself also isn't automatically actionable unless being used to troll people.
