It wasn't flame at all if you bothered to read.
But if you want to be butt-hurt about it, go ahead. I don't mind.
"Fag, a British colloquialism for cigarette"
And the AMERICAN-English version:
"Fag, or faggot (slang), an American English slur for a homosexual or effeminate man."...
I'm not American.
I'm British.
I will not uses their terms in my sentences in different context.

The way you used it was most definitely flaming. In it's context, it was flaming. In the context it will be seen, it was flaming. The majority of our British posters here would readily accept this, because it's forum rules, and context is key.

I do not care what context you read it in.
If the person has no knowledge of the word's existence in another country as another term, would you still punish them?

Yes. If it's the law, yes. Ignorance is not a defense. Now, I'm going to stop replying to you, and wait for a mod ruling on this matter.

Neither would a ban, there are plenty of other similar type of games on the internet and this isn't exactly a game I play 24/7.

Note the bolded. This is not 4chan, and the above is considered trolling. We don't do that here.Lingray wrote:Sure. Okay, you can act like a retard.
Again, the bolded. This is now flaming, and that's also something we don't do here.Lingray wrote:If this community decides to 'hate' me that's not my problem and it would not bother me one bit.

What is your problem is the site rules which you agreed to abide by when you registered your account. If you are unwilling or unable to follow what amounts to the simple common-sense edict of "don't be a dick," then perhaps you do need to find one of those plentiful similar types of games out there, rather than waste your time and that of the mods.
Now, to hopefully drive the point home that you need to re-evaluate your behavior on this site, due to the particularly aggravated nature of the violations despite people trying to nudge you away from rulebreaking, you've won a *** one-day ban for flaming/trolling ***.
Please be aware that evading forumban will result in the immediate deletion of the banned account. I recommend that you use this time to either find some other game to play, or to review the site rules and follow them. The mods have little patience for repeat violators.
