Yep, it's a thread about religion, so:

You can go ahead and boycott whatever you want, 'fo sho. And you can consider it stupid if you want. The rule/law is 'no religious symbols in public buildings/places/seals/etc.' It's been upheld countless times now. Intent doesn't matter, and that's been constantly reaffirmed throughout the cases involving this.

Using my Olympic Slogan in a debate on NSG? Wow, nice flamebaiting attempt, want a cookie? And once again, I want to look at specifics; I don't want to adhere universally to broad and general principles. Now that you've been informed, use my Olympic Slogan, (which I've never used on NSG, and only used for RPing purposes,) again, in a mocking fashion, and you will be reported.

Is this the part where you fabricate a moronic 'gotcha' attempt? Really? Come off it.

Not even just stupid! Moronic. Yum. The reason I don't humor the babbling of people who have proven themselves to be the constructors of idiotic arguments and painfully obtuse theoreticals, is because it's tedious, aggravating, and ultimately pointless. As, instead of sticking to their argument after it's been shot down, they look to the next page in their handbook, and parrot out the next line of nonsense.

If what I've been doing is flamebaiting, I'd appreciate knowing about it. I definitely know it's ridiculing, and patronizingly mocking people who make extremely poor arguments ... That it is, 'fo sho.

(As for my usage of 'Fo sho (For Sure, in a horrible accent), it really "Can't Be Helped(TM)-" as it's too good of a pun to leave unspoken.)

Now, as for whether it's flamebaiting. Sure, I suppose. I'm making statements that rudely point out the fact that the people posting drivel, are posting drivel. Being told that what you're saying is nonsense is enough to make anyone mad, I would think. For example, listening to rubbish makes me mad. Should probably not go into threads like that, huh?

On NSG we have rules and traditions of common courtesy. One of the traditions of common courtesy is that if a poster specifically asks you not to do something, you don't do it, unless it's relevant to the thread. I've been on NSG for several years, and seen all kinds of threads, and been in all kinds of threads. Usually when someone says: "hey, that's my Olympic Slogan that I use on NS Sports, please don't use it to flamebait me anymore" one would expect a person to stop using it. You kept using it, until I reported you, and courteously posted the link in the original thread.

And you know what? Two things happened. First, you stopped using my RP posts to bait me on NSG, and second, the thread suddenly calmed down. I even got a few TGs, and I'm glad that, what could have turned into a trolling nightmare, ended up becoming another semi-relaxed discussion.

Anyways, the main point is this: when someone asks you to stop baiting him on NSG with the comments that he made in one of his RPs comments, you stop. It's that simple. Now you claim that you had no idea. And arguably, the first time you didn't, even though I've yet to see anyone on NSG use that, and it's been almost six years. I still remember Jolt. But the second time you went ahead and used it, you left me no choice. If I was to walk away, my RP comments would be fair game on NSG, and that would set a bad precedence, not just for me, but for everyone who uses RP forums and NSG.
