My sig was warned for being too long, Is this updated version sufficiently short?

Still too long at nine lines. That one line is too long and wraps, and the date at the bottom could probably be dumped into the [pre] box.

You've got an open [pre] tag at the bottom. If you fix that, the preview will come in at 3 lines, making it too long.
Lose the box. You don't need it and it will free up 2 lines.

Putting /pre at the end was the way to fix it, so your tags now appear to be closed and working perfectly fine; from what I can tell, your signature is within 8 lines now too.

Start by taking out all the boxes and smilies. They add pointless size and pointless cringe.

[Pre] and [box]es are counted different, actually.

[Pre] tags are at least 3 lines - top of the [pre] box, interior (usually only one line) and scroll bar/bottom.

[Box] tags are at least 2 - top and bottom of the standard box, plus however many lines are within the box.

Actually, top line of box is counted as 1 line, bottom line of the box is counted as 1 line, and then whatever the number of lines of text there is. So, if ypu look at mine, it would be considered 5 lines.

You're already oversize. You need to lose the box and the horizontal rule.

I got a telegram not so long ago saying that my sig had to be mod edited as it was oversized. I just wanted to ask if it was fine as it is or if it still needs to be edited?

Also, sorry about the sig being oversized, I wasn't aware of the specifics and instead of asking just assumed it was fine, silly me.

I believe you're referring to [pre] tags - bear in mind though that they count for at least 3 lines of the maximum 8. Hope that helps
