I haven't offered a definitive opinion on whether you did either; merely provided a link, and asked if your posts meet either category.

However, you've openly stated that you hate Americans and the United States.

If I were to state "I hate blacks, and have good reason to hate them" - which I don't - without much in the way of further explanation, it might be conceived as flaming and trolling. The same might be true if I were to single out Jews or Arabs. I'm not sure that the expression of similar sentiments directed towards our American cousins should be given a free pass just because they're big, powerful, and mostly white.

But I don't know. I'm not a mod, so I'm not sure where this sort of comment falls - which is why I've asked for an opinion.

Controversial statements about $GROUP should be presented as logical arguments without invective backed up by specific links to your information sources. $GROUP could be any group of people who share a common characteristic about whom a general statement is being made; this could be a race, but it could also be any nationality, political alignment, culture, economic class, gender, sexual orientation, belief system, fiction series fanbase, what-have-you.

Just because it's not about race doesn't mean it can't be trolling.

Oh, and Allanea? As complaints come in about a particular player, the NationStates Moderators will consider each complaint in turn, judge each incident on it's own, then compare it against past history. If we think that a ban is in order, then we will issue a ban. That said, persistent rulebreaking or borderline rulebreaking activities can indeed result in Moderation consequences.

Depends on your country and culture. "Twat" is a pretty much an idiot, but not just somone who makes a mistake idiot. Someone who is consistently just being plain..well...a twat. Kind of hard to explain. It's nothing similar to "cunt" in Ireland like you seem to be suggesting he means.I don't know where either of you come from, just something to think about. EDIT: Just re-read it. Okay, so in the states it means the same thing. But I might end up calling you a "twat" (just as an example) and I sure as hell don't mean the "c" word. I'm just calling you an idiot. Get my drift?

As a side note, this has caused numerous problems with the word "tosser" which in Ireland means someone who messes about and is generally silly. In England it's something less...innocent.
