the Star wars thing is interesting but he jumps back in forth between tech levels.

GF may be some sort of weird Warsie who's ripped off Star Wars a lot, but that's no different than a whole lot of other future tech roleplayers. He's still declaring war as his nation against some other nation, with no mention of Galactic Republics or the like, so while it's godmoding and generally low quality it's not actionable.

The thread TRIAD's mentioned has been addressed, but no one has done anything particularly actionable (though if the derails keep up I'll lock it). Half these problems actually come when the "experienced" players decide to jump all over the new guys and don't actually contribute anything of use either in terms of actual roleplay or trying to teach new people the ropes in a way that they'll actually listen to (protip: rude "read the sticky" posts just indicate you're a jerk and do not classify as education).

Most of these issues could be dealt with internally if some people could just grow up. They know who they are, and they know that they know better.
