Mods- We've all seen this helpful post on Sirocco's blog, but is there any movement to back up the old Compass to International Incidents thread? I think this was one of the best resources we've had when it came to teaching the newer players, and it'd be a shame to lose all that hard work and good threads.

It shouldn't take too long to backup, if there was a good effort to save it. Not having much experience with Sirocco's method of backing the thread up, it looks like it might even be a one-person job. as long as it hasn't been done already, I'd be happy to do it.

Chances are I probably won't bring over every single thread/post from that sticky, and it may take a few days for me to complete it.

This being my summer break, I've got the time to do it as well. I'm gone tomorrow, but I can tackle this after that. I think some people have written new guides on the NSDraftroom or similar sites, so I figured this should be more of a regular-player initiative rather than a mod project just so we include everything. I was just checking to make sure the mods hadn't already dealt with this.

If I make an announcement in the forums, though, it'd be nice if it were a sticky. Is there a way to make a sticky show up in all of the RPing forums?
