Carried away...

Postby Anemos Major » Thu Aug 13, 2009 3:53 pm

I'm terribly sorry, but could you please delete every post that wasn't made by Gynocracy on this thread? I feel I got a little bit carried away, something I apologize profusely for, and that this factbook shouldn't be ruined due to my actions.

Thank you very much.

I'll remove the posts that the OP wants removed. I've posted in the thread to ask for links. I won't remove all posts without the OP's request.

Hi Ardchoille

I'm not sure how to do it to be honest. Basically all the posts from the one about prostitution up to (but not including) the ones from the Baron I'd like deleted. I'd also like the last half-dozen or so posts deleted as well please.

If you wouldn't mind telling me how to link to a post I'll gladly do it and then make your life easier.

Sorry - I'm not much of a techie! :)

Yes, the ones about prostitution... were strange.

OK, I've cleaned up. I've left one post by Surote where he seemed to have made some attempt to roleplay, but if you don't want it, post here again.

I've left your responses to the ones where he seemed to be posting OOC because they've got a fair bit of information about your country in them. You should be able to edit the "Dear Surote" and the quote out of your own posts, but if the board still has a time limit on edits and you can't, or you want to delete them and can't, just post here again.

To see how to link to a post, click on the "spoiler" button and read the instructions.
To link to a post: In every post, underneath the title of the thread (eg, under "Re: Carried away ..."), you'll see a line "by ...". At the start of that line there's a little icon like a sheet of paper with one corner folded down -- a little white rectangle -- and then the words "by Whoever Whatsitsname >> Fri Aug 14, 2009 5.21am".

Point your cursor inside the little white rectangle and click. The web address at the top of your page will change. Highlight that address and copy it.

Write [ url] with no space after the first bracket (I had to put the space in so the game doesn't try to make this whole line into a web address).

Once you've written [ url] then paste the new web address. Then write [ /url] after it (again with no space).

That should give you this: [ url]http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=11471&start=25[ /url]. (Remember, don't leave any spaces inside the square brackets. And make sure they are square brackets.)

When it's posted, it will look like this:

http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=11471&start=25.

If you want it to look like this, you type

[ url=http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=11471&start=25]this[ /url]

(once again, making sure that you don't leave spaces in the square brackets.)
