Is the name I used for a new nation inappropriate?

The name I used is "Gay Sex Funeral". Is it obscene or inappropriate?

If so, I sincerely apologize.

I find it somewhat offensive, despite being straight.

Then again, I'm not a mod, so ignore this post if the mods disagree.

I don't see the point in having a nation name that couldn't be used as a nation. That being said, I know mine's ridiculous but I've rp'd it enough that it works. ;) A name is one thing. Gay Sex Funeral? Dare I ask what in hell that has to do with ... nations?

Well, what in hell do Dread and Old Ladies have to do with nations?

But in any case, I have no problem with it, but ultimately it's left to modly discretion, so, just wait for a ruling. Although I think this might be better suited for Getting Help, or just ignore it until you're asked to change.

I think it's a tad offensive myself.

I'd be interested to see what the moderators say, but I see a boatload of problems with that nation name.

Old ladies? Beg pardon? As I noted, it was about how it was rp'd - the nation name itself started as a joke concept from a character in another game. 6 yrs of rp have offered it all the legitimacy a nation needs around here. For someone with a nation name that sounds like some sort of Greek pastry, you're one to talk. :P

In any case - as I said. Names of leaders, place names, concepts, etc make sense. If all you're doing is coming up with stuff to elicit responses in General, I dunno what to make of it. I'm sure there's a line. I'm not sure if you've crossed it.

Seems like it would be offensive, though I'm not easily offended myself.

Though, probably, if you have to ask, perhaps it's better to err on the side of caution and create a new, more appropriate puppet nation.

For example, my puppet is "Der Beardtoniker" a parody of my nation, and my pognophilia.

Now If he had a swaskia flag that would be offensive.

Of course it would, in accordance with the rules.

His having, or not having a swastika flag, does not actually change my point though.

Tasteless, maybe. I'd be inclined to look pretty sharply at how it's used.
I don't see it as being any more offensive, perhaps, than "Straight Sex Funeral", but if another mod disagrees, that's certainly their prerogative.

Now now, don't go taking your butt-hurt-ness about having your trolling thread locked into someone else's Mod thread. Get over it, learn the rules and play nice.
