Nation Calculator...?

I've been pondering this for some time.

What if we could combine our nations? You need to have the passwords for both nations, while the requirement is that a nation has to be at least over one billion in population in order to prevent people from simply making thousands of puppets and combining them.

You have to specify what nation you want to have the population added to, while the other nations will cease to exist and their names will be available again.

I have 3 Nations with a population of 1 billion+, would seem crazy to combine them. It would unfairly inflate a nation's power and make the census rankings incredibly unfair. I like the idea of dividing a Nation though.

Some nations roleplay political unions, but abuse of puppets to increase population may be seen as godmoding by some.

You don't get what I'm saying, they wouldn't average out the Nations statistics for the nations being added. The nation that you pick to have the populations added to it would simply have the population added to it, that's it.

It only takes 6 months to get to 1 billion, so people could then easily grow puppets just to get extra population. I have 100+ nations with 1 billion+ population already...

O.O

No offense but why? Okay than raise the limit to the nation has to be a year old.

*mentally adds up populations of all puppets*

hmm... I could give Vojvodina-Nihon a population of about 180 billion. Neat. That's just the puppets I remember -- there might be a few others I forgot.

And the number of puppets I have is quite small compared to dedicated gameplayers (raiders and defenders typically have dozens or hundreds; New South Hell has about a gazillion, etc).

Wait, people pay attention to their population?

I have about 200 nations, a bunch created in 2003, most in 2004..

I'd have an insane population then. Fear me. Or for me.

It's really unlikely that we'll let people inflate their population like this. Population is an almost sacred metric here, since it's the one thing you can't control.

That doesn't seem very logical. I mean, what if a nation commits genocide? Gotta have an issue for that, I think.

You would think so, but somehow we started with no population-modifying issues, and then because of that, population became a status symbol. So we're going to leave it that way.

An animal population relative to resident population and enviroment would be nice though.
