Would it be okay if I started a push for the 'mass-telegram' idea on this forum as I did in jolt, or would it be overkill?

Some forum suggestions about code tags
WA Defy Button Discussion
Visual Influence Depiction
A World Summit?

I also edited the color tags so that the invisible bulletins remained invisible...
but I'm not complaining considering the current color backgrounds were my suggestion! :D

I caught up on some stuff I missed from Nai' Essay, and that discussion I had with Neesika on her problems with the forum - some good ideas came out of that too. Also I added some census report ideas.

I already had it under Security > Limiting Delegates power to WFE

If that was a proper way to phrase it?

My Response to Bears Armed:

Bears Armed wrote:1/ Allow at least some forms of punctuation in nation's names _ Apostrophes for names involving a 'possessive' element, such as "Khama's Country", or contractions such as "Llanfair'goch"; full stops for use in names that (due to the limited length allowed, or for other reasons) include initials or other abbreviated terms; and maybe exclamation marks -- and perhaps some other symbols, too -- for use in names from languages with sounds that don't exist as letters in English (such as, for example, the 'clicks' in "!kung" & in certain other tongues from southern Africa).

May I note that some high-level language may recognise certain characters as an indication of a variable so not all characters may be suitable for a nation name due to system of the language. For example, using the " character may cause the parser to think that this is the end of a nation name: i.e. NationName="Charlotte "Charlie" Ryberg" may cause Charlie to be mistaken as some sort of command, or be rendered as a syntax error. Apostrophes are perfectly okay, though.

Oh, and this thread is worthy of a sticky status.

Well thank you!

I might keep up the update messages though so people know if I've updated the list recently. (They were originally just there to act as a 'bump')

Thanks Again! :)

It is possible to quote from more than one member by clicking on the appropriate quote buttons in the Topic Review section. That can be done while you're posting or editing a reply.

Sorry I missed that one. Though I think maybe [violet] is waiting to update it when all of the changes are made - because there appears to be some improvements coming on the horizon.

I've UPDATED the Announcement Board to shamelessly advertize Sirocco's contest and a neat discussion on Password Protection that's taking place in Moderation (?)

Hm. There are some GreaseMonkey scripts available to implement quick-edit and quick-reply, as well as a hovering preview.

Okay, I've updated it with your posts Glen. I was going to get around to updating it with yours earlier, but got sidetracked with Sirocco's shiny new ad for a issue contest which distractrated me. Hope you don't mind.. :)
