hi! what are signatures on the forum we have these as the fourth "option" at the bottom why

They can be a lot of different things. It can be disclaimers about your personal beliefs IRL, what's canon in your nation and what isn't, or just being goofy. It's usually a way people can get a general feel for what/who you are from a couple short sentences.
I am, in fact, NOT the very model of a modern major-general. But I will say this: life is short and doesn't matter, so enjoy every little chaotic shred of it like your life depends on it. Because it does.

I've had a sig for as long as I've known how to have one, but I do change it around sometimes out of boredom. And yeah, everyone uses their sig on every post; it's put into the website like that unless you tell it to not do that.

Signatures are like real signatures; they notify that it's from you; it describes you IC and OOC; it tells people things, either true or false.
