Member List Stuck at Page 41?

I was trying to find a nation via the members list in the forums when it just suddenly stopped at Page 41. Why does this happen, and why does it only happen to the member list? I've tried passing page 41 on others and it seemed to work, so idk why the member list is having issues.

My assumption is there's too many stuff going on which made the list stop itself at 41 to prevent lag or crashes. Idk though, I'm not a computer scientist.

I can confirm this behaviour of the forums.

Page 40 has an offset of 1000. Page 41 an offset of 1025.

Another techie can hopefully figure out *why* it behaves like that (I am at work, so can't check the code nor any configuration settings).

That was a quick hack because we had the issue with a bunch of bots thinking it's a good idea to scrape the entire $&%^$# list, and the database system we use for the forum isn't good at moving from the end of something, so it always iterates from the front. If you're on page, say, 1000, and it always has to go through those 1000 pages, and a bot does this a stupid amount of times a second, one can easily imagine how slow the forum was during that time.
