Heh, it certainly gave me the biggest headache, since I think the quote BBCode already ganks use of the HTML <blocktext> tag. I ended up BSing the same effect using inline CSS. Here's what I came up with for it:

<div style="margin-left:75px; margin-right:75px; margin-bottom:5px; margin-top:5px">{TEXT}</div>

Obviously you can change out the numbers to adjust the margins as desired. CSS saves the day again!

I am currently writing a post for a role-play, and I was thinking about the use of images. Images, generally, make walls of text easier to bare. But, currently, images break up the text, making it look less appealing and harder to read. Is it possible to somehow have the text flow around images?

earlier you said you could use inline CSS for the blockquote? If that's true you could do some kind of tag sort of like the [url] tag in that it can have 2 params...

EDIT: I just did some testing of my own on another phpBB board, and I figured it out.

worked for me at least. Custom CSS on here may throw things off but its a starting point.

And many thanks to North Mack for the help, we now have the Float tag to wrap text around images on the [float=right][/float] left/right side of a post ^_~ And for those wondering about the image, that's a really old Chrono Trigger sprite edit my sister did forever ago of IRL me I figured a little bitty image would be a bit easier to wrap around than the 3-D sig pic thingies I used in the Wall of Text demo in the first post of the thread! Gasp and such, IRL-style Rep Prod the Ninja Mod Admin ... armed with a paper airplane!

Seconded - this would be really useful. Right now, we have to add the link to the relevant post manually, and when these debates stretch into 500+ word posts across 10 pages, you start losing track of who said what where...
