Please note the Trade Fair has shifted a few days to May 13 (which is World Fair Trade Day this year - it moves).

I thought it was odd that it was going to start on a Sunday night/Monday morning. Are there any significant changes to how the fair works planned, or will it be about what it was last time?

Will future trade fairs always happen on WFTD?

It also strikes me that the name of the event has been changed in official communications to the World Trade Fair.

I think atm we are leaning towards no. There are an array of changes that we would prefer to have implemented before an election could be run. We will keep those high on the to-do list, but it's hard to say when we can get around to it.

This is not a final statement, but, for now, I would approach this with the expectation that it will not go ahead.

August 5th has come and gone without a SecGen election.

Are there any plans to update the calendar to reflect events scheduled for after Z-Day 2023, once all the preparations have been made? The original intention was for the OP to showcase all events within the next year.

I will be updating the OP for 2024 at some point, yes. Apologies for how sporadic the updates have been, the moments of free time I have had lately have been going towards writing code for the site. I am hoping to eventually just have an actual calendar page, but that is some work away.

N-Day and Z-Day are expected to go ahead as planned. The bigger question is whether or not we will be seeing any changes for either of the two. I will have a reread of previous suggestion threads at some point.

Is N-Day intentionally scheduled for a Sunday start? Will run into a weekday for everyone which hasn't usually been the case

It's the same time as the last 2-3, which is 10pm BST Saturday. It was picked to 1) maximise the amount of players who could be on at the start (7am for most Aussies, 2 - 7pm for Americans, 10-11pm for most Europeans) and 2) to run for as much time as possible over the weekend for as many people as possible.

It seems that while NS states "registrations now accepted" (on the factions page) and "registrations now open" (on other NS pages), I cannot find the option to create a faction even as an RO of my region (Greater Dienstad). Am I missing something?

Edit: I see the option now, apologies.

That said, I assume factions from the last N-Day will be cleared before this N-Day begins? I seem to be unable to leave the Red Army Faction from the last N-Day as a result of having been annihilated that N-Day.

After the recent little oopsie with Liberations, someone may also want to double check that Z day passwords work as intended with Governors, ahead of time, if you haven't already.

Just a question. Last N-Day, I was able to start nuking at 4:00 PM, but now it says that I have to wait until 5:00 PM to start. Is this supposed to happen?

The start time appears to have been set an hour later than normal.
