Character not appearing.

Attempting to put the character "œ" in a field under settings results in the character being removed upon submission. This doesn't happen with the similar character "æ" so it is unique to this character.

Not necessarily. Different parts of the site support different character sets. There are plans to eventually convert everything to a modern version of Unicode, but we're nowhere near that point.
