Missing posts?

One or two weeks ago, I had reached 6100 posts, and counting, the last thing on my mind at the time was that a good portion of the 100 posts would vanish without a trace. After I logged back after that day, I realized that decreased significantly, I believe that before the disappearing posts, I had 6189-6199 posts, but now it decreased to 6050-6020 posts. Fast forward to today, I also noticed that the number of posts I made yesterday had too decreased, I remember that it was in the region of 6120-6140, now it's 6086.

What's happening here?

Many of your posts in Forum 7 may have been in threads that got pruned while you weren't looking.

Looks like the bulk of your posts have been in F7, and F7 deletes threads that have been inactive for seven days. When the thread goes poof, so do your posts in it.

Actually, F7 posts just don't count at all towards your post count.

True, though they will still show in the "Including all posts" count on a user's profile. Just not in the post count that displays on their forum posts.
