Let edits to RMB posts mention users

I'm sure this has probably been suggested before in some way, but let edits to RMB posts mention users. What I mean is that when you edit an RMB post to mention a nation, there are no notifications that go through. I would just like to ask that we be able to mention users in RMB post edits so that if I have to edit an RMB post with a new mention that the nation I'm mentioning notice it through notifications instead of me having to show it to them or them just completely missing it, which defeats the purpose of mentioning nations.

You mean that when you edit a post to include a ping in it, then the user you are pinging will get a notification after the post is edited?
