why to Pallaith tho? He can't do anything about the programming of the game. Also, the technical forum is pretty much also handled by mods, so mods will see this.

I like the spirit of this idea (no pun intended), though I wonder: would this change include every single nation in the entirety of the game's history going all the way back 20 years - if so, is all that data recoverable? Or would this change be only for present and future active nations? How will either differentiate between nations with reused names and/or a future reused name - or will each and every use be included no matter the amount?
How will this change address challenges it could present to site staff through DEAT/OS nations? Such as residual malicious content in customizable fields, material for gloating or even shrines to well-known users (e.g. Layem)not to say that any of these will happen? The current Boneyard seems like an equalizing resting place for the game's good, bad and ugly, so how does this change plan to maintain that - and if not, what is the alternative, especially considering the graves of those 'disgraced' and 'soiled'?
What non-staff recourse, if any, would be available to users who might want all their nation's info deleted as fully as possible when they CTE? And keep their privacy intact with or without what may become Hotel NSfornia, a place where our nations can CTE any 28th day we like - but they can never leave?

You have to think realistically here. Most likely if this change is implemented, it will be done to new CTEs. Unless the data of CTEd nations is stored in a database it would take ages to put in all of the nations that have CTEd

And new CTEs arrive every day, so it will effectively be an eternal converting unless we all temporarily paused CTEing.
