Freedoms Slipping out of Nowhere

Hello!

I am a new member of NationStates, and I had a general question.
I logged on this morning to find that two of my freedom values had changed: my economy went from "developing" to "weak" and political freedom went from "superb" to "very good." What happened overnight? Is this just something that happens in-game or did I miss something?

Could it possibly be because you outlawed donations to and advertising from political parties?

A General Assembly resolution was passed yesterday as well, that could also have influenced those changes as they tend to do
