Title sorta says it all. You know that one picture that always shows when the gameside goes down? Ya know, this one:

Where does said image actually come from? Why is it the chosen image? I feel like some of our oldies might know the answer :p

I believe it was made by Reppy not long after NS' founding, but I don't have information aside from that.

Pretty much this, I threw it together using the DoGA CGA System software forever and a day ago with my mod character running away from the flaming mess as a bit of a joke for in the sekrit lair... that [v] decided would serve nicely as the actual server-down image. :lol2:
